Here's the updated LocalStrings_ACW.csv file, please check it out and let me know if it is exactly what you want before I send it to Pocus later. As far as I can tell the credits are on the bottom of all your scenarios on the Scenario choice screen. Once I look at the "Background" screen however, they are on top.
Regards
.
Gray_Lensman wrote:You don't seem to understand, I can't use the file you sent to me directly, I cut and paste your information into the master that Pocus sent me. He specifically requests that I do it that way. I attached a copy of that master above in the thread. I need to know if after the cut and paste operation that your information is intact and correct.

Does anybody have any idea how soon we might expect a fixed, certified, "official" 1.08e patch? Probably not (since who knows how long it will take Pocus & co. to fix the objectives bug and perhaps others not yet reported), but no harm in asking.
Going forward, I am going to be much more careful about modifying files and directories outside the "approved" patching process. In particular, I will have to work out a scheme of backing up entire directories, not just files within those directories, as I have done up til now.
Gray, the Petersburg changes are cool, and I do indeed hope they open the door to the creation of a Petersburg campaign scenario.

On the Objectives page, all of the objectives apart from Richmond, Memphis and Nashville are shown as Union controlled. As it is Oct, 1861, New Orleans, Mobile, Atlanta, Little Rock, Charleston, Norfolk and Vicksburg are still CSA cities.
The map shows these cities as Union controlled (blue bar), but the cities are in fact CSA as I can not access the garrison units. Also, the CSA seems to be generating VP's as if these cities are Southern.
The New Unit message has Union flags superimposed over the units that are being built. One flag per unit.
I have no mods installed...strictly vanilla.

Franciscus wrote:Just a thought: Does this problem have anything to do with the new attrition rules ? What did you choose in the options ? IIRC, in the right-most setting, AI (as you) only can draw replacements in depots. Maybe this is the problem ?
(PS: @ Gray: What is that strange flag over Louisville in one of your objective ledger screens - pirates ??![]()
