Fri Jul 06, 2007 4:27 pm

So has anyone received the boxed version of AACW from either AGEOD or Matrix yet in the US? I am expecting it anyday now...hopefully!

I know NWS has received the two cartons we shipped them. Some other orders should have arrived by now :cwboy:

Yes, I can confirm that I did receive my copy this past Monday from NWS. Chris was beyond patient with my every other day e mails asking "WHEN?". Don't be alarmed if it takes upwards of two weeks, that is what mine took. Trust me, it is worth the wait!

I got mine from NWS.

It took about a week for them to ship it. I think I understand why now, they were waiting on the box from you.

Got mine from NWS.

Hmmm, I ordered mine from NWS on Sunday and just got a shipping confirmation email today, six days later....I suppose the initial shipment sold out, or the Independence day holiday delayed things. I'd have DD'd the game but the wife likes gifts to be something in a box!

Well, won't be long now!

BB:
I ordered from Matrix with "Download + Physical" option and as I have yet to receive my hardcopy I checked my order online to see what was up.

Right now, physical disk and case w/manual copies are on "Backorder". It doesn't say anything about why or how long, I imagine you would have to call them to get anything resembling an answer. Of course, they might not have any idea themselves- it's a screwy business. :fleb:

Sorry the news wasn't good, but at least you know a bit more now.

No hard copy from Matrix yet. The DL version works just fine though!

First Post. Wish it were more positive. Ordered boxed game from Matrix July 2.

Still shown on backorder as of this evening. Demo is outstanding, however.

I still havnt gotten my Matrix hardcopy of the game. Any reason for the delay? Mind you i've no real complaint here as I am enjoying the DL version, I am simply curious. Matrix has provided me good service in the past and as they say...paitence is a virtue.

Absurd! Attempted to cancel my Matrix order (still backordered); informed that "all sales are final". Downloaded from AGEOD yesterday; game is F______ outstanding! Have no idea what "game" Matrix is playing, but strongly suggest that AGEOD re-visit it's choice of US outlet. The customer service from Matrix was abysmal to boot. Any one else in this boat?

I ordered boxed verson directly from Ageod. I can only assume my copy was stuffed into a bottle and thrown into the ocean. I hope it washes up on US shores soon. :p leure:

I still havent heard any new news on the physical part of AACW from Matrix. Obviously someone got the ability to order it WAY ahead of availability. While technically it isn't a big deal if you got both (+$10) and are now playing on the digital version like myself, it stinks if all you ordered was a physical version :grr:

I think I will take others advice and use NWS next time. Their prices are better too. :fleb:

I just got my e-mail from Matrix Friday saying that my boxed game had shipped out to me and my card had been charged.
So, I imagine early to mid next week it will make an appearance.

I hope those of you who ordered after I did get the product much more quickly. I was told mine shipped July 2 and it still hasnt arrived. Please let me know when you receive it if you ordered directly from AGEOD as I think something went wrong with my order.

As I mentionned in a separate email, it is between 5 and 10 business days, depending on how efficient are the guys in the local post office (French or Royal Mail) :p leure:
