Treaty of Versailles
5. France will terminate the Treaty of Paris with China and agree to sign Non-Aggression Pact with Russia with a 3 year term.
bjfagan wrote:Here is the text of the final German offer for peace with France that has been further modified to gain approval. If France accepts, then please make an announcement and place all French forces in Vosges inside the city's fortifications. No assaults have been ordered anyways, but German and Russian forces will be placed on a defensive posture. This will prevent any further losses to either side.
Treaty of Versailles
1. France transfers to Germany, control and ownership of the colony of the French Congo, including all provinces that have Gabon as their capitol.
2. France transfers to Germany, control and ownership rights to the Suez Canal.
3. France reduces its present standing army (excluding reserve forces) by 35%, of France's choosing.
4. France will terminate all diplomatic relations with Belgium and Egypt, cancel all treaties and recall its ambassadors. For 5 years from the signing of this agreement, France will refrain from any diplomatic actions or treaties, and any military assistance, with Belgium and Egypt. No French military aid, support or troop movement within Belgium or Egypt is permitted during the 5 year time frame. Commercial transactions are exempted.

German forces have been placed on defensive mode, with orders to evade combat and move into Germany. German naval forces have been ordered home. However, a garrison shall remain in Paris until peace is signed (OOC: peace sent in game by France offering the French Congo. The 35% reduction in forces can be disregarded now, considering the losses already taken).
Russian forces have been advised to do the same.

Please be advised that reinforcements have been dispatched to Suez. Some have arrived already and more on the way. Now that France has capitulated, several more armies are available. We ask the Egyptians to accept our terms of surrender, submitted several times already, before there are enough German forces present to annihilate the Egyptian Army. Be forewarned that from this point onward, the more German blood spilled to defeat your armies, the more punishing will be our final terms. We plea to the Egyptians to end the bloodbath now.
Here are our present and final terms of surrender:
Treaty of Suez
1. Egypt shall transfer control and ownership of the province of Suez to Germany.
2. Germany shall reimburse and assist in the reconstruction of structures destroyed under German occupation, with the proviso that no military structures will be replaced.
3. Germany and Egypt both agree to discuss at a future date, the status of the colony of Sudan.

KOREAN MILITIA OPENS FIRE ON JAPANESE OBSERVERS
Why on earth would Koreans open fire on the Japanese tiny expeditionary force (mostly made of loyal ceremonial retinues) after all we've done to their country? Nippon invests a lot in the Korean peninsula yet still the Koreans view us in a hostile way. This is unacceptable. We urge the Chinese to speak with the Joseon Dynasty and make sure our forces remain safe and the trade routes open. We also ask the Koreans to give back the prisoners they captured.
OOC: Since the Japanese "Korea Observers" force was made up mostly of Old Samurais, that's what the Japanese Provinicial Forces are made of, most casualties happened once the two forces clashed in melee. Pretty cool!
Kensai wrote:Since more skirmishes are happening, Japan will withdraw its observers from Seoul but will keep surveying the waters near Korea for potential abuses against our interests. Japan has a stake in a peaceful and working Korea as it possesses many lucrative tradeposts in the peninsula.

This is agreeable, although we would prefer to be paid in goods if possible, for an equivalent sum more or less, like xx Steel and xx Coal if possible...

(OOC - now I just have to write up the script).
OK, this is agreed.
