I have no idea how to force the death of a ruler. You need to submit your .trh and the .hst of the file together with your password to Pocus for him to see. This is rather strange.

@Kensai: Where do I send this?

IC - It is good to see that France has a couple of common prostitutes for neighbors. Nations that have no claims against France and were allies of France not even a few years ago. Nations that France conceded colonial claims in the name of friendship previously. Apparently greed comes before dignity in Belgium and Spain. We hope that your people are proud of whom they elected.

Metz was French for over 300 years before it was stolen in an unjust war. Strasbourg was French for just short of 200 years before it was also stolen and made a personal property of the Prussian Kaiser. Neither were taken from France in the Congress of Vienna of 1815 despite the Alliance against the first Napoleon having every opportunity to do so. This shows that these areas are integrally French. There is nothing unjust about our war, yet we are beset by those who have no justification for war with France. We hope the rest of the world sees the unbridled greed of Belgium and Spain, and how Germany is pulling strings of his puppets, no doubt offering French colonies as prizes to his little ladies of the night.

1. Chad is not a big colony and lose Puerto Rico.

2. France do not support belgium in his rightful claim of Congo.

It seems like your friends do not win a lot.

3. And you do not ask your allied before to begin wars.

France was mediating in the Congo claim when you stopped talking to everyone. I did tell the original player of Spain (Jim-NC) about the war, but it changed practically as soon as I was starting the war. That's something that should've been discussed in the transfer between the two of you but apparently it wasn't. And it doesn't matter that Chad is big or small, you (Jim-NC) still got it for free as a friend. Spain also sold Puerto Rico - they didn't lose it.

None of what you stated is a reason for war. At best you are a dirty good-for-nothing mercenary. At worst, you are a common prostitute.

Edit: What you did was also an abuse of the CB system. You used my CB on you to declare war instead of forging a CB. There is a bug in the system where one-way CB's can be used both ways, but no one until you has actually abused that.

I'd also like everyone to note that one of Ojo's reasons for war as Spain was previous interactions in Belgium. Prior baggage is grounds for warnings and bans in most forums, and should apply in this game as well. Despite whatever he felt happened in Belgium, it should not affect his interactions as Spain. However, that's obviously not what's happening. The group should really consider the actions of players like this.

1. I speak about Belgium to defend my allied in a war.

2. Try to talk with you before you attack Germany and you didn't reply me.

3. CB, I suppose that I received the CB because yu are at war with my ally I don't know anything about a bug.

4. I cancel my alliance with you because I don't trust in you after you dow Germany without any comunication with Spain and because you are in a permanet war with Germany, I try to get a new alliance with many powers but only Germany want it.

5. My time in Belgium only affect to my Relations with France because I know what happen to the friends of France.

Want to try again? You spoke about Belgium because you were mad that I didn't automatically take your side when you were Belgium. You also are lying about me not responding, because that is the list of PM's before and during the first phases of the war. And no, you had no CB. Your DA with Germany was well after the fact of the Declaration of War since you started the war as a French ally. You used the temporary CB that France received because you declared war on France's ally Egypt. That is a bug because it is a one-way CB.

Not only are you an untrustworthy mercenary, you are also a liar now.

You did not reply before the war.

Edit:

1. Read again my other post I never say that we did not talk after your DOW in Germany.

2. Thx for make public your PM, I can not trust in you.

3. I tried to get an alliance with GB, USA and Russia to avoid the war, finally I can't get any alliance and send an offer to Germany because you continue replied me, my initial negotiations with Germany did not go well and you begin reply me I negotiate with you and later Germany accept my final offer but he did it 1 hour after I talk my last communication with you when I talked to you that I am going to join the war with you, and the offer of Germany is really best than your offer.

So what? You do realize that the transition between Jim and you being Spain was almost exactly the same time that I declared war? It's not like you were Spain for a week before the war and I didn't respond to you.

Either way, it's not a justification for war.

OOC - This is probably an appropriate time to reveal another communication, between the USA and Spain (under Ojodeaguila).

When Ojo took over Spain, the USA sent a cable to Madrid offering to purchase Cuba and/or the Philippines, if they wanted to, and if not, it wasn't a big deal. Ojo was told that the same offer was sent to Spain (under Jim-NC), which was rejected, but didn't stop Spain and the USA from having good relations. This was Ojo's response to the USA offer to purchase Cuba and/or the Philippines:

Colonial Plan for America

1. Cuba and the Philippines are the only reason to have division between us if I can take new colonies I can give it to you and we can be allies. I cant sell you my colonies because I only have this colonies.

2. But if you help me to invade Venezuela and Colombia I will not have any problem in give you Cuba and the Philippines in exchange of your help in my invasion of new colonies, the european powers are busy at the moment and we can make this invasion easily. If someone tell that it is unhistorical I have 2 good examples for them.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominican_Restoration_War
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Mexican_Empire

3. If you are interested I will send you a more detailed proposal. Today we have a big problem for a long term friendship if we do that I probably become your best friend.

Knowing what I know now, and what I've seen about Ojo's play style in the few days he's played as Spain, I am not completely comfortable being a part of the same PoN PBEM game as him, especially his making such outrageous, illogical, and illegal decisions in such a tremendously important time like this.

Have you responded to every PM sent to you? No need to answer that, because I know you don't. Is that a reason for other countries to declare war on you? And here's an idea, it's best not to publicly lie about something that someone else can call you out on. Lie about something that there's no proof for, but you obviously do not take your position seriously. I have no reason to make you trust me because you've already shown how untrustworthy you are by declaring war on your ally for a price. How much was your dignity worth? Probably not much.

I don't have the dates of the original PM's. I never pretended like I did.

What do I think would happen? Maybe that you would stay out of it like your messages said because you were my ally like my other allies did instead of bidding yourself out to the highest bidder? That's what neutrality means, liar. Shows how much your word is worth. I'm not going to continue arguing. I will propose a vote to put you back at peace because you fraudulently declared war using my CB. You can forge your own CB then.

France offered Austria nothing either time because we do not look for greedy idiots to manipulate like the Prussians do. Austria fights you because they have their own problems with you, not because they are attracted to shiny baubles. Austria did not start a war as an ally of Germany in either of the Franco-German wars and switch sides like the turncoats in Madrid. Most countries have integrity that can't be bought or sold.

The nation who fight the 30 years war with the Protestant against his Catolic brothers and invade his allied Spain during the napoleonic wars must not tell turncoat to anyone.

The Spanish people remember the 100.000 sons of saint Louis destroying the liberal government of the liberal trienium.

We have simply noted that a state of war existed between Korea and Russia. Our peaceful traders have become under siege in Seoul. Since the war has ended, just abruptly as it had started, our Manchurian forces started to retreat behind the borders.

OOC - I had no idea how / why the war started; just realised that the trade post was under siege. Last turn I received a message saying that "Hostilties with Korea has ceased"???

Reports from the fronts

This fortnight has seen several clashes between Russian and Austrian forces.

In the beginning, Franz von John's army, supported by another army, tried to enter Tarnow (Radom), in Poland. They were beadly beaten:

Russian artillery carried the days and decimated the attackers before they could reach our front lines.

At the same time, Gen. Kaufmann, realising the possibility, made a swift move and advanced on Lemberg, where the fighting took place for several days:

Meanwhile, a small detachment has taken the city of Kremnitz:

Our forces were successful on the Southern front, as well.

as well as in Bihac.

Belgium declares war to France

After carefully observing the international climate in Europe, Belgium decided to declare war to France. When peace in Europe after the British Imperialist adventures was in our grasp, France revanchism plunged the whole into war again. After hearing much plea from both sides, Belgium decided to join Germany to attempt to speed up the conclusion of this war.

ELECTRIFICATION PLANS IN BRITAIN SPARK INTEREST IN NIPPON

The Japanese have been beaten in their race to be the first nation to invent a plan to electrify the country and its productive facilities. But we applaud the British nation for its contribution in this field. We hope that soon Japan will follow suit. Good relations with the British nations will help us and any other nation in the forefront of technological innovation to invent the future!

IMPERIO DO BRASIL

The consistent prudence, preference for peace, and support for the orderly balance of power of the Kingdom of Spain was a pillar of the international order, and it is sad to see how Spain has declined under the control of battling factions of radical republicans and others, leading to changing sides against their long-term French ally rather than simple neutrality to avoid participating in an unwanted war. How can any other country trust a faithless republican government without policy, continuity, or responsibility? How can it claim any legitimacy? Certainly, we, as long-term friends of Spain, feel the sting of this and ask the Spanish commanders to stop their advance, retire their troops to Spain, and work to restore orfderly and beneficent governnment.

Let us contrast this with the Kingdom of the Belgians. They made the choice to break the historical neutrality so critical to their secueity in the military crossroads between multiple great powers. As they disclose, they cast aside neutrality and embark upon a course meaning the sacrifice of a generation of their youth caring not for territorial gain, not for financial advantage, not for the balance of power and tension that keeps nations short of war, but only for the noble humanitarian goal of doing what they can to shorten the war and bring peace in our time.

Open Letter to the Spanish Government from HM Government

To the Republic of Spain,

On behalf of the British Government, and having just finished in a war that we started (and we admit as much), it pains our government to have to go back to war. However, we feel that what has transpired over the last few month has been startling and a whirlwind of activity. Given that, we note the recent declaration of war by Spain on it's former ally France. We seek peace, and as such we ask the Spanish Government to stop it's war, and return to status quo ante in regards to French-Spanish relations. We therefore issue an ultimatum to Spain to remove it's army from French soil, or we will be forced to declare war on Spain.

We are for peace, but are prepared for war. Our Ultimatum will expire in 2 weeks (OOC - by the processing of next turn). If we have not received a satisfactory answer, we will be forced to use our CB to declare war.

Signed,
Lord Gladstone for HM Government

Open Letter to Germany and Italy:

We expect both countries to honor their NAPs with our country as per our recent peace treaty.

Signed,
Lord Gladstone for HM Government
Remember - The beatings will continue until morale improves.
