Reports from the fronts
This fortnight has seen several clashes between Russian and Austrian forces.
In the beginning, Franz von John's army, supported by another army, tried to enter Tarnow (Radom), in Poland. They were beadly beaten:
Russian artillery carried the days and decimated the attackers before they could reach our front lines.
At the same time, Gen. Kaufmann, realising the possibility, made a swift move and advanced on Lemberg, where the fighting took place for several days:
Meanwhile, a small detachment has taken the city of Kremnitz:
Our forces were successful on the Southern front, as well.
A battle taking place in Westkroatien, on the Adriatic coast:
