Their armies were essentially destroyed after the bug when they got pulled into the battle when they MttSotG's to aid that single locked general in Ebro. The largest of the two armies was completely destroyed trying to get back to Catlyuna next turn and the other badly damaged and stuck in Ebro surrounded by Spanish armies that outnumbered it 8 to 1. Since I also had no replacements or way to make new troops and no troops to defend Barcelona or Zaragoza it was clear at that point that they were toast. Nothing I could do anymore. I could have put up a good defense had the Ebro battle not happened as I was talking with the US about joining the war on my side, but once it did... :bonk:

lukas, yes, but considering that there is a lot of loyalty for the Carlists in the whole of space, there was a slight chance to turn things around. Indeed the last turn there were some revolts. But, I agree, the Carlists stand no chance without some kind of external intervention. That's why diplomacy was so critical. Any way, turning them AI next turn cause they've already been two turns without orders.

I am working on a script to fix the auto-protectorate event that switched Moresby from the USA to GBR. I will post here so people can tell me what I'm missing. I lost a few structures as well, but I will just rebuild them on my own.

Agree diplomacy was critical. As mentioned was working on something with the US. But glennbob's leaving meant coolbean wouldn't commit since he wanted GB and by the time the GB situation was over it was too late. The GB situation also prevented me from doing more diplomacy since I was focused on trying to get GB myself for a day or two and on the peace talks/war breaking out as the OE. It was just bad timing, by the time I was able to focus on the Carlists again that silly MttSotG's had happened and it was all over but the crying. :(

Guys, I prepared the working (tested!) script for 1873 Ryukyuan sovereignty. Strangely enough, I could not find an initial Ryukyuan order of battle but I believe all these tribal Asian nations use the same TCH faction-models. I recreated a minimal standing army for this nation. The script also corrects for the bogus relations between Germany-Japan (white peace would have meant better than reality), together with a "leaky" donation to the Ryukyuan Kingdom.

I'm really sorry, somehow the turn I ended up uploading had me ignoring GB's peace offer. I don't know why, that was the first thing I did when loading the turn. I did modify the .ord a few times, perhaps the acceptance was lost somewhere in the modification process.

It was absolutely not intentional. Can you please resend? I can't as I have no dips except one, that I'm going to need.



Also, the OE has been generating 0 dips for nearly a year now and I'm almost out. I know I'm not supposed to get many, but 0 is a little too few. Can we find a way to get me some dips at least?

What does that have to do with British/Italian peace?


I have another question:
Germany and Britain have come to a side deal. We have agreed to that Britain will not interfere in the colonial region of Rhodesia, and will transfer all available structures to Germany (in the area). I ran the script below, but for some reason only some of the structures were still on the map after I processed the turn (actually 1). I am attaching a screen shot. It shows that the structures in Harare for example transferred, but then they disappeared. The mission in Mutare did transfer, and is still standing. The CP did change hands as well, but the structures appear to have been destroyed at some point after transfer. Does anyone know why this would happen? I don't see anything in the logs, and it appears that the script worked correctly.

The local tribe is at war with me, so when the structures transfer over they get destroyed by the tribe. I haven't been able to deal with the situation, understandably, and figure out a way to deal with the problem before the transfer, but go ahead and run the script anyways. I will deal with the loss and deal with the situation.

Thank you, by the way, for making the script. I was planning to do this soon, but hadn't gotten to it.

If there are errors, simply take out the part which creates the problem, do not delay turn resolution unless the script is critical for some reason. When tested, it only removed but did not create structures of wool2 and fish2. However, it did create (i.e. changed) the cereals field. I simply dunno what may be problem and why some parts are working and some not, when the text is the same. I have been testing it for several days and simply have no clue. So, in cases where the structure is not created, I will prepare a corrective script - simply creating seems to be working (e.g. tea field in Kars).

I can run it as long as it doesn't give errors (syntax, not logic ones). Logic ones can be reversed next turn.

Nothing, but Lombardia behaves as if it is still counted as Austrian territory (investment costs there are increased by the factor of foreign investment). This command will correct the status of Lombardia. I've just included this to avoid another script for such a (rather) small matter.

I go to war in same time of Russia, with Russia in the war not sure who win lol!
