Welcome both!Pocus wrote:AGEOD has been reborn! The new AGEOD consists of the existing team (Philippe Thibaut aka PhilThib, Philippe Malacher aka Pocus, Fernando Turi aka Generalisimo and Gilles Pfeiffer aka the Dark Pepper),
Next a square with http://www.shrapnelgames.com/and is merging with Slitherine and Matrix!
Yes, you heard it, we have managed to form this triangle of wargaming expertise.
, with Matrix now a partner, we will be able to supply a full boxed copy of all our games.
In future the plan is to incorporate the Matrix system to allow unlimited downloads and installs as often as you like

Too bad it has to involve Matrix Games. Over the years I've come to regard them as the Elephant's Graveyard of wargames; the place where old, unsupported games go to die (and earn a few more $$). Since this is an AGEOD game, though, I know it will be innovative, based on a sound understanding of history and supported by the active AGEOD forums. So, great news, a big Thank You and best of luck in your merger.

Also, The Shenandoah Valley was a critical area in the real war that never seemed to be very well represented in AACW. If the passes in and out of the valley were relevant in AACW I could never tell. Could they be clearly delineated in AACW2?
I was just thinking last night that a new edition of this game including all the advances you guys have made is a no-brainer. Thanks again!
