iPad (homescreen, front right angle)Apple has posted a video stream of the Wednesday’s iPad media event. A must-see presentation features El Jobso cozying up on a couch on the Yerba Buena stage and surfing the web on his iPad.
Whenever Steve Jobs delivers one of his trademark keynotes, Apple fans and haters alike are glued to their screens, analyzing his every move and inspecting frames for hidden clues. Regardless of the camp you belong to, watching Jobs do his magic is an out-of-this-world experience unlike any other dull corporate presentation.
The ultimate showman and salesman, Jobs appeared on the stage of the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco Wednesday morning, dressed in his trademark black shirt, blue jeans, and sneakers. His mission was simple: sell the world Apple’s new tablet.
This is one of Jobs’ better keynotes worth sitting through an hour and a half. You know the drill – the welcome applauding, a few business metrics to get you in the mood, pooh-poohing tablets in general before cutting through iPad features back and forth, everything spiced up with memorable one-liners.
Although the presentation lacks a traditional “one more thing” segment when bombs are usually dropped, it features something worth seeing: Steve Jobs in a laid-back mood, cozying up on a couch and surfing the web on his iPad, completely ignoring the fact that the world is watching.
As always, the company is advertising on-demand footage on the main Apple.com homepage, inviting users to watch its superstar CEO with the usual punch line:
Resistance is futile – don’t deny wanting to watch the keynote. Ready to be drawn in by Jobs’ reality-distortion field? Point your browser at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/qtv/specialevent0110/ and enjoy the show (direct links to the streams: Low Quality, Medium Quality, High Quality). Apple’s free multimedia software QuickTime is required to watch the stream the event.
You can download QuickTime for Windows or Mac OS X here. If you hate QuickTime for Windows (who doesn’t), you can always google for QuickTime alternatives that replicate just the plug-in functionality without grinding your computer to a halt.

Really, I find this "device" useless...

What's the point of it??... I may be missing something...

It looks like a big Iphone without most of it features...
