@Rafiki

IMHO the title of this thread should be updated and the Hotfix thread should be deleted or at least unsticked, to avoid confusion.

To be frank, Franciscus, it's not your call, nor mine, to advise a title change to a developer's thread when you don't know for sure what the developer had in mind. Even I wouldn't presume to do that.

Your commentary is unnecessary IMHO
I made a sugestion to the forum moderator, that's all.

If the threads are not corrected, any player arriving to the forums might download the "1.13" patch and then apply unnecessarily (and with probably bad results) the obsolete hotfix. That's what I was going to do yesterday (patching my laptop instalation), when I noticed that the patch was 1.13a.

I may not be able to post any bugs or anything like that right now, i just wanted to say how good it makes me feel to see people still being so ambitious and devoted to their work and their customers. I wish i had more time to participate.

Thanks to Ageod and others who takes part in the progress.

PS. Special thanks to Gray_Lensman and Clovis.

Thanks. I consider SVF almost achieved for the CSA AI ( except bug squashing and balance issues). I really feel to turn now my work on the Northern AI in the next months.

In the same game, I have had ships show up being built in Lexington, KY. Without a port, they are listing completion in 4200-5600 days. Real problem IMHO. Same game, with redeemer the host.

edit: As of late September turn

Same problem here.. PBEM game. USS Nahant was built in landlocked Westchester, CT. I'm not the host so can't post the files.

I'm not sure where to post this problem, but I see naval issues here from the new patch, so . . . I'm playing the Union for the first time, 1.13 w/HF1 and am getting severe restrictions on where I can move ships. No ships can move out of Mass. Bay. Ships on eastern seaboard can enter ocean but not the blockade or shipping box, same problem with ships stationed with Gulf fort. WAD or bug? It's Sept 61.

Sorry gents, I uploaded 1.13a officially, which is really 1.13HF2, no more, no less, but got time-constrained by an unexpected event and did not finish the job (of going to the forum).

As for the ship building problem, I would like to fix it yes, is there is a save with backup1 directory somewhere so I see what has changed?

Patch

Tue Feb 03, 2009 8:33 pm

I have lurked here for a long time, but felt it was time to post something . . . Anytime I have had a question just searching the forum or wiki has given me the answer(s) that I have needed!

I am amazed at the long-term, continued support of this game by the developer and community . . . Thanks to all involved and thanks for yet another patch/refinement!!

Thanks for the fixes. One concern I have with the replay feature- it seems FOW is lifted on your opponent when you use it.

Is this confirmed by others? Perhaps a bug yes, the module is still 'fresh' for AACW.

did anybody notice that in the latest version when you dissasemble a division of a non activated general (brown envelope) and take one of the units from it and then add them to a division commanded with an active general (white envelope) he then becomes inactive?
now is that a bug or is that ment to be that way?!

I've noticed that too. It's been that way at least since 1.11d. I'm not sure that it has any rhyme or reason, though. I've just noticed that sometimes leaders go inactive if you disband then recombine their divisions.
