That's IT lingo - an IRQ is an interrupt request, i. e., whatever input the user makes (keys, clicks, mouseovers, whatever) "interrupts" the processes being conducted at that particular millisecond.

Aphrodite Mae wrote:Yeah! If only we could rename "Arkansas Militia" to "Army of Northern Virginia (2048/2048)"!
In one of my tournament games against Coffee Sergeant, I wanted to rename one of my stacks as "The Apocalyptic Army of Doom". I couldn't, though, because that was too long. So, I had to content myself with renaming an Arkansas militia unit as "The Titans of Terror", hoping that the psychological impact would demoralize Coffee Sergeant's troops and contribute to my stunning victory!
As it turned out, The Titans of Terror were decimated by his evil horse-pouncing unit of Yankee Cav.So, not only was there no psychological trauma, but the stunning victory that I'd kinda been counting on, failed to materialize. What a bummer!

I think it would be wonderful if Pocus would enable longer names! Then I could really get creative. Imagine a stack named "The Apocalyptic Army of Doom", composed of units like "The Awful Avenging Angels of Awfulness","Mae's Malevolent Marines", "Really, Really Mean Guys", "Despicably Destructive Dudes", and stuff like that. My foes would flee in panic, filled with dread! That would be a good thing, since I don't seem to be able to fight my way out of a (wet) paper bag, otherwise.

Okay: I finally figured out that I have to convert Buchanan from an admiral to a general, in order to get Assault Balloons. At least, he's the only one that I can get it to work with, so far. Are there others?
Why can only mortars attack assault balloons? Is this a bug?
[...]
Why is the hide value -10? I've not seen any other units with negative "hide" values. (But I only have played CSA, so far)
I get the "balloon deflates" message whenever I use them to bombard cities of level 6 and higher. Does this have something to do with structure height?
[...]
How do I land them, for resupply? I tried the "Ctrl+Alt+D" thing, but got the "CSA Dorothy deflates, Crew killed" message.
And that's another thing. Do I have to put Buchanan in the balloon [...] to get the "Murderous Balloonist" bonus?
[...]
Most important of all... how do I get more? I don't see them in reinforcements, and I run out of them pretty quick with all the deflations and crashes and stuff.
Any help will be appreciated.

If you need anyone flogged, let me know. I have a flog app on my smartphone.
