I'm never sure, just highly confident... ;) :niark:

New game or saved game?

Could you please upload save game?

Note: if privateers attack, merchants will lose cohesion.
And storms at sea may also affect them...

I have not noticed that - I'll keep an eye out for it.

I like the way that stacks are now named for any leader eg "Clinton's Army" etc - much better than all those Royal Expeditions.

But naval squadrons are now also called armies, which is - apart from incorrect - making it difficult to know whether an event, for instance, is naval or land.

WiA is the most enjoyable PC wargame so far. Congratulations! :hat:

The "Navy Army" is a page taken from the Peoples Republic of China :niark:

Hi Lod, I think the portage mentioned for this patch is just from the St. Lawrence river to Lake Champlain?

I would love to see the Niagara portage put in the next patch if possible.
Many thanks for your work on this.
Cheers, Chris

Umm, Niagra, Lachine Rapids, Hudson-Mohawk, Champlain-Lake George, Lake Ponchartrain-Mississippi Delta are all "in" my install...

I d/l using Updater over a 'clean' 1.00b...

Only ones not "in" are Lake George to Hudson and Upper Mohawk to Oswego: they cross too many regions, and are on hold until we can resolve a way to 'block' them... ;)

  • You must control the land area involved [Niagra, Montreal, Albany, Crown Point, Isle aux Noix].
  • Weather in water regions and the land region [port] must be Fair, Mud, Snow or Blizzard. Frozen will block the portage.

:)

After updating to 1.01d, I am unable to access any of the settings in the Options menu because the program asks for a password before it will allow me to change any of the settings. It did not do this previously. Am I missing something?

Argh! :)

"unclick' the 'Turn compression' option, that should do it...

I'm at turn 26 of the War of 1812 campaign as the Brits. The event "an expedition arrives in Chesapeake Bay" occurred with four Sir George Cockburns in charge of the fleet :tournepas :)
