1813 French Historical unit models.

Sun Jul 20, 2008 11:43 am

I tried some modding over Struggle of Nations 1813 Campaign.

I noticed most French Units were using models for year 1812: I replaced all of them with 1813-1814 matching unit type models.
As a result, French forces are now weeker: Cohesion, Strength and Combat Efficiency max values per unit beeing reduced.
Anyway guess we have achived a superior historical accuracy!

Down here a comparison of Ney III Corps at campaign start, how it looks in the default and modded Campaign respectively:

In particular note the 4th, in order, division in the Corps roster: Cohesion is clearly reduced in the modded version, while the Skirmish special ability is gone!

Soon the relative play-modd will be available.......
Stay tuned!

Hope you'll get it a chance:......having fine time over it!

BTW, I got no more news as regards NCP setting and Game-play/Historical accuracy balancing:
http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?t=9741

Indeed spending most time over NCP after modding I had none to play: but new mods, that I had to try within quite conventional settings for clear test reasons.

And you?
Did you have chance to expeirence new setting solutions?

Hiya.
I was playing WiA a bit this week and did not touch NPC :bonk:
Will check all the news you were posting around the forum later today and will report back my suggestions (gameplay wise as this is not "my" historical period)

I'm waiting for the boxed, CD-DVD support version of WiA .
That's a fortune for my editing Modding activity: If I have had WiA at hand I'll probably never started the modding experience!
