&amn hard really is hard now 0r my 1st grunt out hard on new patch

Fri Jun 06, 2008 3:16 am

I use to champeign the cause that Athena was really easy to beat playing as the CSA; the trick being just pull Washington out from under her early, this I could do so easily before the newest patch even on hard level about 50% of the time.....now maybe 20%

In my current game as the CSA on hard I am grunting it out similar to Turbos thread, and really notice that Athena, in actual fighting, just gets soooo much combat bonus I think Jackson, Longstreet, and Lee must cower in fear of union soldiers.....even with her bonuses though I control much of the west....Chicago, Springfield, and Cario......If my troops are entrenched I have a good chance of holding at appx 50 vs 50 odds....if not Im dead meat on hard level (once Athena strikes) and shudder what x-tra hard would mean.

Athena must have nerves of steel tho as even though I have made those incursions she has made the east a blood path and has invaded Tn and the deep south....she has taken Richmond, but by the same token I snuck Jackson by her once latter in the game and DID take Washington....much to my suprise the game DIDNT end, as Raf told me once this could be the case, but never saw it until now.

Why I understand only half of what you say? :)

Athena bonus in hard is mostly about recuperating some cohesion for free. Not about combat bonus (just a mere +5% I think).

I also understand his 50% but i get the meaning though :)

As of Athena having nerves of steel, playing vs the Union AI at hardest level is like playing Cod4 with punkbuster disabled :) :) :)

Oh we understand the twang but then I am Scottish and it is possible you acquired much of it from Glasgow on a saturday night. Might be a bit difficult for those French, Spanish and English chaps etc.

Hi pepe, as Pocus said ... I as a non-british speaker have several difficulties understanding you.

1.- You dont speak neither english nor american english. What do you speak?
TEXAS ! ... :cwboy:

2.- Your long sentences, without taking a stop to breath... Where is the normal NOUM? then VERB? ... :indien:

3.- You are sure talking some kind of philosophical language not in the standard book... "Quickly Speak english with just 500 words" :king:

What I did understood is just:

ATHENA KICKS IN YOUR ASS! :niark:

I always thought it was more of a Tijuana Tequila Twang. Thanks for clarifying. :niark:
