Can not split division - problem

Tue Jun 03, 2008 12:16 am

I've had problems creating divisions as CSA and adding to divisions. I've got a game going where I can not split Huber's division in Virginia. I can not add units to it also. I'd attach a save of the game if I knew how.
For one grandsire stood with Henry,
On Hanover's Sacred sod,
And the other followed "Harry"
In the Light Horse' foremost squad.
And my grandsires stood together
When the foe at Yorktown fell;
"Stock" like this, against oppression
Could do naught else but REBEL.

You're sure it's a division and not simply a brigade with Huber attached as a leader to it?

Is the division in a stack with a locked unit?

about division

Tue Jun 03, 2008 3:26 am

I was making divisions in Richmond and stripped Huber of his troops and put him in a division with a Large Field Piece with the idea of taking him to north to form a defense point in a city with some inf. already in it. Can't add units nor drop the piece. The Plus and Minus light up but they will not go down and I have money, etc. to pay the cost. I wonder if it was the fact he has just art. in the division? I'll see if I accidently locked it. Good idea.

Checked. Found a unit in the stack that was locked. I did not know that would stop adding units - forming divisions. Explans a number of problems I've had.
