Why am I only receiving Supply Wagons as reinforcements?

Wed May 24, 2006 5:43 pm

Hello,

I just purchased the game - looks great. I just have one problem so far. I am playing the Americans in the 1775 Camp. After receiving the initial reinforcements of militia in April 1775, I do not receive any more militia only Supply Wagons.

This happened in my 1st game for 3 years before I quit. On my 2nd try, I received 9 Supply Wagons and no militia in April 1776.

Am I doing something wrong or is it normal to go 3 years with no reinforcements?

Thanks

Have you patched the game?

Have you renamed your saved game?

Have you received additional leaders, like Knox and his artillery in late 75?

If nothing make sense, I will ask you to send me your save game directory (the one of the game you are playing), zipped, to support@ageod.com. In it there must be all the backup directories too (just zip the savegame as a whole).

First, WOW, quick response Thank you.

1. Yes, I ran the Version 1.07 patch - The initial screen shows 1.07 in the lower right corner.
2. No, I have not renamed any saved games.
3. Yes, I have received Knox and other leaders.

Note: I had the Demo on my system. I uninstalled the demo before installing the full version 1.02. Thenn before starting the game I ran the 1.07 patch

ok, so you get Knox (1775/11/01), this mean that nothing is broken in the scripted events chain. Do you get:

Nathanael Greene and 1st Rhode Island in 1776/01/01

the continental navy in 1776/03/01 ?

In February or March you should get a special message in red listing new militias raised, do you have it?

in 1776/07/04 you get a message about the proclaimation of independence (text in red, double clicking lead to a pop-up with assorted image)

etc.

Thank you - Awesome support. Everything appears to be working fine. I played to 1777 with 1.07d

Heh!...this happened to me also. I started a new Brit 75 Grand Campaign and wondered why it was so easy.

The yanks ran out of troops.

Now with the latest patch I started a new rebel campaign and saw the declaration of independence for the first time ever.
