A Couple Observations/Questions

In your gallery of screenshots:

1) the upper lefthand screen shows the situation in April, 1775. The grey box shows American Generals Warren, Ward, Putnam, and Glover (plus several regiments of militia etc). The pictured icons at the bottom of the screen show: Warren, Ward, Putnam, and Marblehead (a UK commander, if memory serves me correctly). An oversight or what am I missing?

2) the July, 1775 screenshot (in French - in which I am in no way fluent) shows the UK fleet off Boston. It is described as the American Squadron however. Is this a misprint? What did I miss?

first of all, my apologizes, I missed completly these messages, until now that is.

1. Glover is in command of the marines regiment Marblehead. The tooltip in the same situation would show you (in the updated version, please bear in mind that you see late beta screenshots) "Glover (Marblehead)", which is more understandable.

2. Its an english squadron, but has it was based in the colonies, its name was "American Squadron" . America was not yet a nation, just a place

How is foreign intervention handled - France, Spain, Holland? What triggers it? Are the forces that arrive Historical or variable?

In the American War of Independence campaigns, French intervention is triggered by a set of events, such as an American victory, Benjamin Franklin signing the alliance, and the date is also altered by the extent and state of English success or failure in the Colonies (i.e. the more likely the British are to win, the less the French are to intervene early)

Spanish intervention is not included right now but Don Bernardo Galvez campaign in Florida and Louisiana should be implemented once we have received the proper historical data.

Dutch intervention did not matter much in the Americas, apart from some smuggling from St Eustacius, so it is more or less ignored as irrelevant on that theater of Operations.

Once the French are in the war, they will send their "Expédition Particulière"..in other words, their intervention forces are rather historical to start with.

Once France is in the conflict, it will trigger also some variable adjustments (both to French and English forces and fleets) depending, partly, on the balance of power in the West Indies (crucial for both belligerents)

In the French & Indian War scenarios, there are no "foreign" interventions...but there are !
