Question about the download version

Wed May 03, 2006 6:54 pm

I'm curious if I get the download version of the game if I can download it again at a later date without being charged again (I've had hard drive crashes in the past wherein I lost games that were gotten that way and it was a huge pain to get another copy of them is why I ask). Thanks muchly.

Yes, no problem. Till you keep your serial you can keep on downloading and installing BoA on your PC.

Here is Ageod policy toward copy protection:

You are allowed to play BoA on several computers, provided that at the same time only one is running BoA.

If you are playing a MP game with one of your friend, at the same physical location, then its also tolerated that you use only one licence, as we quite understand that what you want here is just to play a good game with a buddy.
If you have doubt over the legality of an action, just ask. For example if you want to play a LAN with another friend, then your friend has to buy BoA.

On the other hand, your serial is your, and you must not put them in places where it can be copied or retrieved by others. For the record, we have already spotted BoA on some P2P networks, the 1.0 version, added by some #### individuals. This is completely illegal , but as for now no serial are available, so the game is not playable. (and we have the name of each user, as BoA is not sold in stores).

If it happens that a legit serial is seen on P2P, the serial and the user to whom it belongs will be baned and prevented from patching further the game.

Keep your serial for you. Any serial seen on P2P will be blacklisted.
