i have elements of militia in Texas, Tennessee and North Carolina that seem stubborn as to not move. they seem fine, they are fighting fit troops ready to be sent to the front however they wont even go to the adjacent territory from the town they spawned from. in one example ove got 3 sets of militia i want to move just over the river from Nashville to Gallatin but they just aint moving! is there any possible explination to all this? it didnt happen in any other senarios i have played.

I'm not sure why they show up that way, but many [most?] eventually 'release'.
I've guessed it's something to do with the 'scripted' militia exceeding the force pool allowed, but I've never gone in and checked the count.

I guess these are some of the "Volunteer" units. with At 7- Def 12.
(Not Militias exactly)
Some of these militias dissapear from the game, but some get released for free after a while.
I believe this occurs if they upgrade to line infantry.
Around a 5% every turn to upgrade to militias
Another 5% then to upgarde to conscripts - line infantry.
But not sure is this is the right thing.
Doomwalker wrote:I get this also. It happens with units that I recruit. When I recruit there is some ready to move next turn and some "immobile" for a few turns. They always release after a couple turns. I was definitely not happy the first time I noticed it. I now look at it as part of the recruitment troubles of the time period.
