Prisoner exchange

Mon Jan 28, 2008 12:43 am

How do you exchange POW's?

Also, when you do exchange prisoners do they add back in the conscript pool?

I have 9500 yanks beggin to go home!!!

You will get an event message announcing prisoner exchange is available. I think that it happens in 1862. The event places the prisoner exchange option into your politics page. If you want to exchange, hit the button and if your opponent agrees the POW's are exchanged. Your prisoners go into your conscript pool.

I've wondered about this as well, however what if you have significantly more prisoners than the enemy does, to they get the better end of the deal or is it a one for one deal?

Pocus,
Is the 1/3 your referring to the amount of returned POW's that get added to your conscript pool? This is what I believe is happening from my experience.
I think the question remaining is what happens when one side is holding many more prisoners than the other? Does the exchange happen with an equal amount of prisoners being returned and then 1/3 of the returnees gets added to the conscript pool??

Thanks in advance for the clarification.

So If I have 9000 prisoners and they have 3000 prisoners I will give them 3000 and I will receive 1000?
