Attaching brigades to existing divisions

Tue Jan 22, 2008 8:36 pm

I'd like to know if there's a way to attach another brigade to an already existing division within a corps. I tried drag'n drop but this only makes the brigade leave the whole stack.

1. Get the brigade and the division into the same "stack" (tab)
2. Click on the Division
3. [ctrl-click] on the Brigade
4. Click on the "+" button in the command a control sub-menu.

This should do it.
Note that if adding the brigade would put the division above 18 elements, the "+" wil be grayed out.

Indeed. It was only recently (like, a week ago) that I found out about the Union getting an option for "colored mobilization" and not just for "colored volunteers" (or something like that)

I played like a month before understanding that a click on the political (or draft or ...) options could change the type of the option.

So this means people don't read tooltips (although they complain if there are none) :)

This is a very common one - took me months to find out!

Me too...

Some features (including tooltips and save games) weren't intuitive for me (I blame the foreigners) :siffle: but I think I've got it now.

For an example, I played for (game) years before I figured out that I had to 'sign' the Emancipation Proclamation... I had seen the message and didn't realize I needed to sign it...
