If Montgommery is looking safe are there any advantages to be gained by moving the Confederate capital to Richmond. So far in the games I am playing I can see no reason for doing this but there may be many I am missing as there often is.

There are economic advantages to moving the capital to Richmond from Montgomery. I can't seem to find Pocus' post on this subject. Perhaps he or someone more expert in playing the South can give you the specifics.

There is also a combat/morale bonus when defending a capitol I believe.

I would be interested in hearing about the economic benefits. Perhaps the Union could benefit from that as well.

The phrase used by Colonel Stanton during his speech in Paris in 1917 was 'Nous voilà, Lafayette' with the word 'voilà' having the accent grave. The two words, 'voila' and 'voilà' are pronounced the same way. Unfortunately, with a British keyboard I could not write gramatically correct French easily. Using 'copy and paste' has allowed me to respond to your post. To be honest, I did not make the effort to do it correctly to begin with. However, as I now have the correct word under copy, I will correct my sig. Babelfish should now give you a translation closer to the original meaning.
