I've pre-ordered this game - released in boxed version on 12th October here - can't wait. I'll have no problem running it on my system but was thinking of installing it on my wife's laptop for when I'm working away.

The laptop runs Windows Vista Premium, 1 GB RAM and has ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 graphics

Will that be sufficient to run the game?? Anyone have any thoughts??

i run it on xp home with 756 mb ram and gfx onboard.......its terrible slow from time to time but the game does work, if its compatible with your graphic card it should run.

ATI 9600

XP

P4 3 GHZ - with 1 GB memory

nothing but problems - installed omega drivers - didn't work either. I reinstalled my drivers from the original CD - and that solved the problem.

Other games don't work anymore due to this ! Like Supreme Commander.

I'm not amused at all ... lucky for you guys, this is a great game. But it doesn't work at all on my system ! :grr:

Thanks all, the list seems finished now.

Spruce: I have already in the list a 9600 user, so this is rather weird that only an old driver can let the game fly. And I find even weirder that ATI produces new drivers which are not working as well as older ones, or only for the new games. In anycase, is it really AACW fault then?

It seems new Omega Drivers were just released, if you want to try them.

We could have proposed a refund if you bought the game less than one month away, but I think you have it since some time. Sorry again for your troubles.

Like I said - lucky for you guys this is a great game.

Well, I didn't try the new ATI drivers - and the omega drivers might get a new shot. But I messed up my system when the game got out - big time.

So I'm reluctant to try again.

Don't worry, If I was aiming for a refund I would have let you know - but I'm straightforward here - this game is great ... :coeurs:
