Modding Resources

Sat Sep 01, 2007 12:53 am

I stumbled upon this little website recently, and found it extremely useful to come up with early war Order of Battles (in an attempt to eliminate duplicate forces).

I think it must encompass just about every single skirmish and battle during the American Civil War, with some battles in more detail than others.

Hey McNaughton, maybe you can change your thread titles to Modding Resources. We could put good sites in here.

OK, here's one I wanted to mention - it is for graphics, and I think the devs might want to pass this along to their artist, too.

If you go to the menu at the upper left, you'll have a choice of all sorts of rifles and pistols. Some ancient stuff in there. I've found the pics are superior for usage in the unit graphic files. I have a reworked Confederate cavalryman coming out with a nice shotgun (and yellow kepi). The shotgun image looks marvelous.

Here's a cool one - BRITISH YOEMANRY CARBINE OF 1844
