Sharpshooter Bonus

Do you need just one element of Sharpshooters per division to get the initiative bonus or do you need to recruit a brigade? I hope it is an element because I would rather recruit a brigade of (2) Inf, (1) SS than an entire brigade of SS.

You need to see how many elements are in those units too. Sharpshooter "brigades" are single-element, IIRC.

In any case, one element is sufficient to give a whole division the sharpshooter bonus.

1 per division, and I don't beleive you can recruit a brigade of Sharpshooters, I don't think that is an option. You can recruit brigades that have Sharpshooters as one of 3 elements, but not a whole Sharpshooters brigade.

This recruits one element of sharpshooters...so not really a brigade, a regiment.

Thanks for the input. I guess if I wasn't so lazy I would have figured it out on my own. That's what I get when I am thinking about this game at work.
