I have rewatched "Glory" last night, great movie! I have ordered AACW last week. Does 54th Massachussets regiment is in the game? I guess yes. :cwboy:

The only afro-american unit I have seen so far (Im in early 63) is the "Chasseurs Afrique" (sp?) and I cant find any other in the events files (that doesn't mean there isn't anyone, just that I haven't found them). I would like to see more afro-american units if "Chasseurs Afrique" is the only one.

I guess Chasseurs d'Afrique are a French unit, not a US one. However I remember seeing a black soldier in the official web site, so I guessed there was black regiments.

"Chasseurs d'Afrique" was a Union unit consisting of former slaves, raised in Louisiana in 1862.

You can raise "colored troops" in tha game. Not sure if it's tied in with selecting the "use colored soldiers" political option, but I'd expect so.

I too watched it last night on one of the movie channels. Watching certain movies make me want to either buy or play games related to the movie's subject matter.

Great to see another fellow Canadian here. :niark:

Same for me Wally. I think we have also met on the Great Invasion forum?

I heard so much good things about AACW, I am almost sure it will be good buy, is this the case for you?

Lets go Vandoos! :niark:

Yep, we met on the original Great Invasions forum. I have both BoA and AACW and love them both.

Syagrius, anytime you want to play a PBEM game of either game, let me know. Maybe us Canadians can play the French and Indian War and I'll make sure that the British do conquer New France. :king:

Would be nice, however I dont own BoA at the present. Future acquisition will depend on how much AACW is fun.
