Well, I think we've all stated how we feel and perceive it.

I think it is down to Pocus or someone in position to comment on this subject. Otherwise I think we just go round and round. :cuit:

We are not against the idea, as an option only, but it would asks to code the instant promotion of a general in the head of the army, so that it don't dissolves, and we are back to the recurring problem we face in the team: lack of time.

You, as the players, are rightfully asking for new improvements every week, because a game is anyway a simplistic reduction of reality, so there is always room from improvement... We, have to sort priorities and decide what amount of time we can spend on AACW while keeping our objectives of creating new games. And without new games, the little studio known as ageod would not live eternally!

I wish I can tell you a time frame when this issue can be addressed, but I would lie to you, because we are already overwhelmed and many pressing matters await. As a matter of fact, I prefer to spend the hours I get for AACW on the AI these weeks. :bonk:

I am sure whatever you choose as regards priorities are good, and I especially like the emphasis on AI development. It will serve not only this game but all of your games, I would think, from a coding standpoint.

However you choose, if you do so, to resolve this issue will be fine with me.

in the movie "gods and generals" at the battle of fredricksburg while the union was attacking marye's hights... a confederate cannon explodes from a burst barrel. in the movie(and i assume it actually happened) lee, jackson, stuart, longstreet, and several others are blown down to the ground. after they get back up lee says..."it was not our time..." but obviously a very close call. i think it would be neat if there was always that constant danger of losing some really important commanders.

as well as realistic i think. we should all be willing to wait for these things ....of course....patiently.....

thank you pocus, your a :king:
