Jagger,

Found the following on the WEB :

http://www.geocities.com/nh_heritage/

"Three companies of riflemen would join the 1st and 2nd United States Sharpshooters. A Battery of Light Artillery and a Regiment of Heavy Artillery would also join the States list of volunteers. Accompanying these units would be a Battalion for the 1st New England Volunteer Cavalry and a Regiment of New Hampshire Cavalry. This does not even include the number of men who joined State Organizations that also formed during the War and those who joined the United States Military.
In all, New Hampshire sent more than 30,000 men into service for the Union Army. When draftees and substitutes are included, New Hampshire sent more than 38,000 men into the War"

All the states that aren't drawn on the map don't have troops. In the mod I'm creating I have included troops from those states and they arrive in nearby cities that are on the map. I just don't include Militia from those states since there are no state regions for them really to protect. But I didn't like that MN, NH, VT and a few others weren't there.

What is weird is you can build NH militia. Although I hadn't noticed that you couldn't build Mn and Vt troops either.

I have noticed what appear to be MN artillery appearing in the NE. Although I don't think MN stands for Minnesota but not sure what it stands for. I have also seen cavalry with the MAP designation. I not sure what that is either.
