Back to Kentucky?

Tue Aug 07, 2007 7:37 pm

I assume from my present PBEM turn that besieging opposing militia isn't enough to trigger the Kentucky event? One has to actually kill a few of the buggers?

I charged in after a rather pleasing Sunday lunch yesterday full of 'gumption'
I rather think I might have gotten away with it as there appears to be no reaction to my siege of Bowling Green?

My other actions yesterday seem to have resulted in rather more serious consequences.

Cheers, Chris

As far as I know you only need to tag one milita. Ive played both sides and have attacked milita as each, and got the event with Kentucky joining the other side. Again by simply attacking one milita. I have also NOT attacked as both sides and waited for the enemy to attack me so I got Kentucky.

I think causing siege hits to a militia will trigger a Ky attack, yes. But you have to do siege damage (which does not always occur).

Also, I found out in a recent game it need not be strictly a Ky militia. I had noticed a Ky militia got promoted to a conscript, and cleverly tried attacking it...but no, that too was considered an attack on Ky.
