Fort building

Sun Feb 10, 2019 10:08 am

Building forts has been removed from special orders in one of the first patch. Is it possible to reimplement it and if so , how :confused:

You have to open the userinterface.opt file (NGC/settings).
Look for Specorder3.
Change -1 by 2.
Save and close.

It should work

Awesome thank you very much.
Now I need an app in order to do this. What app do you use to mod Athena like that ?

You can use Notepad to do it.
.opt files are text files.

Cool thanks ! I can do it with Wordpad.
I found the string:
SpecOrder3 = -1 // BuildFort (removed in 1.02 patch QF 1)

Many thanks !

Just making sure.
With Wordpad you must doublecheck that you save it as plaintext, because when you save with formatting information in it it won't work.

Ok thanks ! I'll do it on an other PC with Word then

Also, I forgot to ask: Do you think this change in the userinterface.opt file is save-compatible ?
