Engagement Points ...

Wed Jul 18, 2007 12:41 am

Certain events in the game state that my side gets plus or minus engagement points from a European nation.

What does this mean, exactly? How does it affect the game play?

Do you mean "foreign intervention" (which is by European countries)?

If the foreign intervention score goes above 100, the UK and France will intervene in the war on the CSA's behalf (with sizable forces, if I understand correctly). If it goes under -100, foreign intervention will never trigger.

You can check the current score in the same ledger-page as displays victory points and control of strategic cities and suchlike.

Hmmm ... I don't know if that's what I mean. I don't get how engagement points figure in. They might very well have to do with foreign intervention. Simply by their name, though, I was thinking it somehow affected combat results.

This is confusing but Engagement points = Foreign intervention points
