Playing the Palestine scenario as GB, pbem.
Three turns ago I moved a corps into the region to take Jerusalem. I have another corps in an adjacent region and my army in another. My opponent saw a message about forces engaged but no battle report the turn that my forces entered the region. I had no reports about anything in the region. No battle occurred in the next two turns either. In other AGE games a force entering a region gets automatically put into offensive posture and 5% minimum control of the region is gained. Here nothing has happened. It looks like that rule hasn't made it into TEAW. WAD?

We arranged battles later to small delay. There is message in the log for CP: Seventh army engaged Entente in Gaza day 5, 4th army committed to battle at day 5 but no battle. MC is 100% CP.

MC is Military Control percent.

In this case CP is Central Powers

It has catastrophic effect in battles. In this instance Lods didn't get an assault event first as Germans. Then Russian counter attack didn't trigger battle coming from north and east regions at day 10 that Germans was in assault posture low on cohesion. Advantage lost for counter attack and after a few battles Russians had trouble retreating and low on supply.

Game played under veteran leader option and small delay in battles.

This issue is not related to TEAW only. It happens in other games too. For example, here is my one year old post about same thing happening in TYW.

Also, I remember seeing it in AJE and CWII. IIRC it started after patches with new MC rule (You always get a 5% MC if you have a non-passive force in a region.).

Can this be done by personally modifying certain game files or do we have to wait for a patch?
