All the work that seems to be going on, appears to apply to the beta project (or whatever it's called) and I'm wondering when some of these patches that improve the game and fixes bugs (and are stable), when will these be made "official" so that us steam players benefit also?

We usually wait a few weeks that our people taking the beta patches confirm all is OK and bug-free. When they do, then we make an official patch. We plan to have one mid July if nothing serious is reported back on the latest 1.03 currently under scrutiny.
