Huge amounts of general supply accumulate at major, Southern, coastal cities. If these stocks fall into Union hands, it relieves them of supply problems for a long time.
Questions: if looks like you might not hold, should a targeted depot be burnt the moment an invading force appears off shore?
As it takes 15 days to destroy a depot and only 5 days to land, is it possible to successfully do this? Or does the Southern player just need to face the fact that successful invading forces will always capture a mountain of stocked supplies when costal depots and/or major cites are taken?
Is it possible to destroy supplies stored in a city with out a depot or to reroute the material to another location?
And on another note: alas, gold fields are not destroyed when the city in their area is burned to the ground.
