I think a posted "Save" would figure this out quickly Hollywood.

Or when you increase Rail Pool does the Money and War Supplies immediately decrease? They should.
Do you see any immediate deduction from any signature?

Yes - the decreases take place immediately. So the deductions work.

Thanks for the continued support.

I couldn't get the .HST to upload, but here's a paste of the top of the file. It won't let me post the entire file here:

Okay - I will test it with a 2 Theater campaign and see if this works.

I've think discovered something. It appears that for the Eastern and Western Campaigns, the Government Options for raising taxes, selling bonds and printing money are included in the selectable options, but the events which are triggered by selecting those options are not.

Oh snap! This was it. $600k turned up in turn 2 as a result of Strategic Decision!

Thanks Captain and to everyone else for working on this for me. Seems they just forgot to turn those options off for the Eastern Campaign so it looked like you could use them, but really you cannot.

Thanks again everyone! Much appreciated.

No worries - by default:
1) re-boot
2) re-install

No harm, no foul.

Funny how, as full time gamers, we also become part-time debuggers/tech support.

Appreciate the assistance and see you with other questions soon.

Yes. Without having looked into all the non-full campaign database files, I believe that the money raising events are simply not included. Probably leaving out the money raising options was overlooked.

So to be clear, the CSA can't raise money using those options?

That can't be right...can it?
I have heard, in such a way as to believe it, of your recently saying that both the army and the government needed a dictator. Of course it was not for this, but in spite of it, that I have given you the command. Only those generals who gain success can be dictators. What I now ask of you is military success, and I will risk the dictatorship.

Okay, to be clear and concise, using the 'Print Money', 'Sell Bonds', and 'Raise Taxes' options will work for both factions in the 'April '61', 'July '61', '1862', '1863', and '1864' Full Campaigns.

If the 'Print Money', 'Sell Bonds', and 'Raise Taxes' options are included in the <F4> Menu of the following scenarios, it will nevertheless not work: 'Bull Run Scenario', 'Shiloh Scenario', 'Sibley Scenario', '1862 Eastern Campaign', '1862 Western Campaign', 'Gettysburg Scenario', '1864 Atlanta Scenario', nor any of the Tutorial Scenarios.

Got it! Thanks for clarifying!
