Diplomacy - Country Name - Treaty Window

Tue Jan 26, 2016 3:56 am

In the Diplomacy Window, the country is named Kingdom of Holland. In the Treaty Window, the Kingdom of Holland is referenced by Netherlands. Seems very confusing to me.

It should be the "Batavian Republic" prior to the creation of the Kingdom of Holland.

Yep, the creation of the Kingdom of Netherlands is just "chrome" in the sense that it doesn't change anything, it just means that Nappy put his brother there...

Yes, I understand the name of "Holland" changes during the period. I don't have a problem with that. The problem I have is in the Nation's Window it is one thing, in the Treaty Window it is something else "during the same turn." Since the "Pop-up Tip" in the Nations windows is very sparse and gives almost no information, you have to find the Treaty in the Treay Window to use this "Pop-up Tip" here to get a more detailed information. Since the treaties are sorted differently, it takes a bit of effort to find the right treaty especially when the country is named differently in the two windows.
