Ultimate Mod with Steam

Does anyone know how I can use the Ultimate Mod with a Steam version of TEAW? Do I need a non-Steamed version of TEAW? Any help would be appreciated.

You can I installed it with steam. Though I have to say don't bother unless you are playing it in Multi, the AI doesn't work.

Well the AI work, but it doesnt work very well. It does very stupid moves. And most of the time just stands still.
But in my game i must say the russians are very aggressive and have pushed the Austrians a bit in to Hungary.

It works with Steam but you'll have to hunt down your serial key. It's in the game installation folder under EAW\Settings\General.opt

When you run the game with mod the first time, it'll prompt for key, enter the value from General.opt listed out beside "Serial ="

Is the mod designed for PBEM only? Because the AI is sure give a hell of a fight, on the eastern front at least.

I never really tested the AI in the mod, it's the default Athena behavior. It likely does better on the Eastern Front due to outnumbering the CP player, Athena typically performs better when it outnumbers the player. It should play respectably in 1914, the new items in the mod such as factory building aren't scripted in to be handled by the AI though.
