making some fuss

Fri Jun 29, 2007 7:30 am

Dear players,

Our games need to get more exposure, if we are to succeed in our glorious endeavor (which is to make good (mostly historical) games for quite a long time).

As such I humbly request that any BOA or AACW players to speak of the game in the forums on the net. Dropping a line or a screenshot can start a discussion which can in the end let dozens of people know of our existence!

In the same trend, we need to have our new forums at Paradox and Matrix get some steam. if you are a registered player in these forums, please drop a line there, give your impression, post an AAR, a screenshot, etc. A forum with some new posts each day attracts people naturally!

We need your help here, we really need it! :dada:

I was thinking we could simultaneously cross-post the 6 player AAR onto the new Matrix AACW AAR topic...good idea? The boards over there have a different format, so it'll take a bit more effort than cutting and pasting from here, but just speaking for myself, I would not mind making the effort! :cwboy:

That is the problem. Paradox forums have between 1000 to 1500 forumers at a given time, but a minute amount will discover the existence of the ACW sub-forum without your help.

That would be great, the Matrix (or Paradox forum) would benefit enormously from a good AAR.

Right, I missed this one. Two would be better. If you have a log in at Paradox, please do post a bit there, even general impressions! :)

I'm sure if Jackson where with us today, he'd say that a man's whole duty is to pray, fight and promote AACW. :p ouet:

I've posted on a few forums and sent out some emails, I'll remember to plug when possible.

I've mentioned AACW on a couple civil war Geeklists at Boardgamegeek.

AACW is listed on Web Grognards, but there could be more info under the listing...They will take user submitted review, brief or detailed.

Now there is a review on Web Grognards...they could use more, and as a nice bonus for Ageod every week that there is a review accepted the game gets a featured spot on the "what's new" section.
