Saved/load saved game question

This is my first ageod game, been working on it about a week off and on and I cannot seem to figure out the saved game system. When I go to the load game screen I get my named saved game, so i cntrl/click the box and my windows explorer files come up with the backup files, but then what?....It is very confusing, I tried searching the forums but could not find an answer, the manual is very vague, your help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Just click on the box of the game you wish to play. Then down in the lower right you will see a button which says, Play. Click that and wait a minute and your game will open.

OK thanks but that's not my question; when you control/click on that box (in the load game menu) a list of files comes up in windows that (i am assuming) contains previously saved portions of that particular game. How do i start the game from windows explorer?

Ok, I have never done this click/control. Interesting.
The game sees files in the folder.
So drag a file you wish to play into a new folder. See if this works.

Why would you want to do that Durk?

Everybody, please don't start moving save files around unless you know in advance what the results will be.

<Ctrl><Click> opening the Windows Explorer in the Save's folder is to assist the player in finding the Saves files to send .ord and/or .hst files for PBEM and for packing Saves to upload them to the forum.
