How do you start a game against someone and how do you organise it?

Open a thread and than talk. Maybe you find someone who is interested and chat with him via PN.
After that you organise a data exchange (mail, dropbox, ...). Talk about Houserules and Settings and just start.

1) Post a message here to find an opponent
- Prefix the name of your message with [CW2]
- List your preferences if any (game settings, home rules, hosting, side, ...)

2) Opponents interested should reply by PM (Private Message)
- Communicate your email when replying to the PM (avoid giving your email on public forums...)

3) The hosting player creates a new game
- You can rename the game in the "Load game" screen

4) The hosting player sends the first *.hst file to the opponent

5) The opponent plans his moves and sends the *.ord file to the hosting player

6) The hosting player copies the *.ord file in the corresponding save folder.
- By example on my computer : <drive>:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Civil War II\CW2\Saves

7) The hosting player runs the turn when his orders are completed.

8) Goto step 4
- You can also send to your opponent the "replay" (*.rpl) file. For this you must activate the "Save replay" option.
