Activation settings?

What activation setting is the most common in PBEm play?

I am not sure about most common as I have seen no survey. In the games I play, Veteran Activation is used. It is so challenging and such a crap shoot and so historic.
The players I know delight in Veteran Activation. It is such a challenge to think and plan.
