Wow! That was strange!

I besieged Paducah for 3-4 turns with 1 cavalry and 1 cavalry arty unit. No breaches. Thanks to artillery I was inflicting hits on the defenders. Plus I blocked their river crossing. Finally, they surrendered! Thought everyone in AACW would fight to the death.
