IMHO, AARs also keep the game players going!

I generally have difficulty wading through AARs written as novels, and I very much appreciate your matter-of-fact style. I try to write mine the same way.
As for automatic events, they're the ones with the "(A)" in the title.
H Gilmer3 wrote:Ahhh, ok. Thanks. But, as the Entente player you don't get to see the CP events like that before they play and vice versa, right?
It definitely adds flavor. Not being that versed on WW1 history, I did not know that the Emperor died during the war. And I missed a few other things as well, like Lord Kitchener!

Oh, and Kitchener. That definitely got a chuckle out of me, since I have a fair familiarity with WW1 and have the following anecdote: When I fired up my first WE game, I looked at the British GHQ and thought, "Who the hell is this Lord guy? Shouldn't that be Kitchener?"
Then I clicked the actual unit and laughed at myself.

Too bad you were not able to take Constantinople.

Have to admit everybody here has been doing a good job, even though many AARs remain incomplete. Have been a fan of CTGW the past 2 years and counting, but felt the need of depth for a WW1 game, hopefully this fits the bill.
