Public Beta Patch 1.04 RC5 in the 'Help Improve CW2 forum'

Fri Jun 20, 2014 8:55 am

Hi gents,

A new version of the 1.04 patch soon-to-be-official has been released in the Improvements forum. This patch is already very stable and is not particularly dangerous to play with, except it can be a time sink ;)

So if you want to give it a try, that would also be appreciated as we partly rely on you to help us with the 'stamp of approval'!

Thanks to the devs. And "can be a timesink"? Hehe, a big understatement :)

Pocus, is this continued-game friendly? I'd rather know the changes don't have the fundamental effect that 1.04RC had on PBEM.

It should be yes, everything excepted modified events (if they already happened) is working dynamically.

Pocus - what were the fundamental changes that have affected PBEM?

I wasn't sure there were any. Pocus essentially confirmed that there were none he knows about.

Well, read the entries about changes because they will affect PBEM somehow, what I was saying is that I don't see anything that will trash a PBEM.
