Red Arrows On The Counters

Sat Jun 14, 2014 12:56 pm

The red arrows shown sometimes on the map counters what do these represent?

I am sorry, long time I touched the game and I simply can't remember.
And such informations are hard to find!

An illustration would help immensely

Do you mean either of these?

The one on the left means the stack has the Avoid Combat Special Order. The one on the right means the stack is in Offensive Posture.

Since Windows 7 there is the Snipping Tool. You can use that or another tool such as Green Shot to make screen shots of the map, also only small sections of the map, like just 1 stack. Try them out. they're easy to use.

Hello Captain_Orso,

I am so sorry.
For some reason, I posted in the wrong forum - stupid me!

Anyway, maybe you can also help:

Do these arrows show a CP penalty on the stack?

Hi Templer, LOL, not to worry ;) .

We don't have those arrows in CW2. In that position on the counters is where the activation status envelope is placed. On units without leaders it is always light beige, like in my two illustrations, because they are always activated.

If one or more leaders are in the stack the leader with the highest rank is deciding. If he is not activated the envelope is brownish.

In CW2 to discover a CP deficit we have to select the stack and then check the tool-tip on the stacks tab in the stack panel. We have no indicator on the counters themselves denoting the CP status.

I'd check the tab in the stack panel for the tool-tip. Maybe you can recognize something there.
