"Flavor Brigade" Splitting

Forgive me if this has been asked before...

When a "flavor brigade" is split - for instance the Iron Brigade in the 1862 scenario, instead of the componants listed I get the 1st US, 2nd US, etc.

Perhaps I am missing something here, but I would like to (for instance) remove a leader like Rufus King from the Iron Brigade and attach it to a division - is this possible?

I realize this might just be from my ignorance of all the abilities of the game - if so, a slap on the head when giving me the answer is fine.

I have the same problem as well. The best way to attach King to a division without losing the Iron Brigade subunit is to simply merge the divisional HQ with the Iron Brigade or whatever brigade has an organic leader. You'll tun into the same problem if you ever want to reorganize the division.

Fixed.

The limitation I was speaking about is fixed now, for the next update: elements will remember what was the parent unit now, so this is fixing quite a bit of issue in the new version.
