Tooltips question

Sat Mar 04, 2006 6:30 pm

First off, let me give you the obligatory 'congrats' on putting together a beautiful and excellent product. I've been wargaming since the 70s and the look and feel of this brought back so many good memories that I just had to buy it. As noted by many others, the map and counters are gorgeous. My virtual hat is off to you. :hat:

Heck, I bought it as much to support projects of this nature as anything else and wasn't really worried about playing it right away as work keeps me pretty darn busy. Then I started to play and am really enjoying the experience, even with the lack of sleep it brings.

To the point... for some reason I find the constant tooltips a little... annoying at times, for lack of a better word. They pop-up and flicker like mad from one to another as I move over units and towns and areas, so sometimes I just park the cursor someplace 'safe' while I look over the map. I was wondering, would it be possible to add a user-configurable delay or perhaps even a way to turn them off and use a key-press (shift?) with the mouse in the right spot to bring them up? As yet-another-option, of course.

Thanks for considering this.

The option is already planned...just we lacked time to implement it :innocent:
