Corps

I need comformation on building Corps, To form a corps do u need an Army present or can corps be formed independant to Army?

someone has not done the tutorials :)

ok... I give the answer anyway. A corps is dependant of an army HQ. The Army stack = the head, a corps = one arm. And this create an octopus in the end!

Done the tutorial several times but some of us need bigger spoons when force fed :niark: doesn't have to be same stack just army area of control right?

Indeed.

Once you have created an army any 2 or 3 star general in the general region will be able to be promoted to Corps Commander of that army, irrelevent of any troops he may have under his command.

Click on the Army commander and hold down the <shift> button and you can see the area that will support a Corps operating under his command. If your 2-star Corps commander is in that region, he can form a Corps. If he is not in that region, you need to move him in and monitor that he stays in that region to retain his Corps status.
