So CSA army attacked harpers and lost but stayed in the region. Next turn CSA ordered army to moves out of region but instead attacked. My union army was on defend.
I understand that moving into a region with <5% MC turns you over to offence but moving back to a region you came from? Any ideas?
We played the old ACW extensively and are finding a few strange (to us) battles like this.
Another (less important issue) battle my union army attacked a region on assault resulting in a stalemate. then later in the turn the army assaulted the town and received another stalemate but the results chart showed both armies on defence orders. Any ideas?
