Sat Nov 09, 2013 3:44 pm

So, how come my partisans won't destroy rail when ordered to do so? Am I missing something?

And last, this game is GREAT FUN!

All stacks have a chance of destroying rails equal to their modified combat factor. So a partisan gets a bonus but not enough to insure that the rails get destroyed.

Even if the elements total over 100 there is a chance they may fail.

WARNING!!!!
(personal opinion coming)

This started in v 16 of AACW because some whiners got tired of repairing rails. Never mind all you have to do is break the rails to stop a train and a company of men can destroy about 1 mile of track per hour. Or that sections of rail up to 200 miles long were ripped up in Missouri and about 100 miles in Nebraska by raids or partisans, the whiners must be appeased!!!!

So, it was left that way in CWII.

Just for the record, I got tired of chasing down raiders too, but that is just how it goes.

They should make it so that a small protection force, militia or cavalry regiment, can receive supply sitting on the rail.
