Would love to see Alexander the Great in a future release...

Would anyone else like to see the conquests of Alexander the Great in a future release?? Perhaps with the other Persian/ Greek wars included...

Yes, but i consider it quite a complex scenario that would require a lot of work to get it right. Same with Diadochoi, what a nightmare scenario to code :bonk:

I say no to persian invasions and diverse greek wars if the map is the same as AJE/BOR. Those would need much more detailed maps, even a new game i would say.

Yes, the Greek wars would require a new map with much more detail in Greece and surrounding areas.

I agree that the Greek wars would need a more detailed map. However, getting back to Alexander's conquests of the Persian Empire when I look at the Parthian Wars map it wouldn't take much to set this up for Alexander's Macedonians to invade!! Wish I was a modder... let's hope AGEOD are planning to do this...

Lack of sources is always a problem for trying to create good scenarios of many ancient wars, but at least in the case of Alexander the Great, the Greek wars and also Caesar's Gallic war there are good written sources available.
